Ally Reynolds, a junior from Weymouth, Massachusetts, scored her third game-winning goal of the season to lift the UNH women's soccer team to a 2-1 overtime victory at Binghamton University that clinched a berth in the America East tournament.
With the scored tied 1-1, Kaylan Williams' initial shot caromed off the crossbar down to Ally, who blocked the ball back into the open net to end the game at 91:19 – just 79 seconds into the OT session.
Ally has played all 17 games in her first year as a Wildcat – she played two seasons at URI before transferring to UNH. She has scored four goals and assisted on another for a total of nine points. Those numbers rank first on the team in goals and points.
The UNH women's soccer team returns to action Thursday, Oct. 25 for an America East first round game at Albany. Start time is 7 p.m.
