2013-14:
Named an alternate captain for 2013-14 season...Career-high 33 saves Oct. 11, 2013 vs. Clarkson
2012-13:
Played in four games and started one game – Jan. 25 at Merrimack ... had a 1-2-0 record with a 2.25 GAA and .919 save percentage in 159:01 of action ... in three Hockey East league games, was 0-2-0 with a 2.78 GAA and .909 save percentage ... recorded his first career victory with an 18-save effort at Denver ... played the final 50:55 of the game and allowed just one goal ... in a 20-minute relief stint at Boston College (01/11), stopped all eight shots ... stopped 10 of 12 shots in 29:39 of relief action vs. Providence (01/19) and was charged with the decision in the 6-5 loss ... made a season-high 32 saves in his only start of the season, a 3-2 loss at Merrimack (01/25).
2011-12:
Wyer appeared in three games for the ‘Cats, including his first collegiate start at St. Cloud St. (11/22)… had a season GAA of 2.50… earned a save percentage of .897… had an overall record of 0-1-1, but missed much of the second half of the season with injury... A Hockey East All-Academic team selection.
2010-11:
Wyer was the second goalie on the UNH depth chart… He did not see action during his freshman campaign… One of 10 Wildcats named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
Career Milestones: Career-high 33 saves Oct. 11, 2013 vs. Clarkson... first win Nov. 24, 2012 at Denver.
Before UNH: Wyer looks to join a long line of successful UNH netminders from the Bay State, including most recent Wildcats Kevin Regan and Mike Ayers... Played in 2009-10 for the Valley Jr. Warriors of the EJHL, posting a 14-13-1 record in 29 games with a .907 save percentage and a 3.87 goals against average... The Reading High School product’s accomplishments are extensive starting with a 50-15-3 record and a 1.45 GAA in his career... Had 18 career shutouts, including seven during his final season in Reading, a year in which he was 12-8-3 with a .934 save percentage. .. Wyer’s Reading team was named the Massachusetts Super 8 Champions in 2008 and were also Middlesex League champions in 2006-07 and 2007-08... In 2009, Wyer was named to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic and Super Team, as well as the Boston Herald All-Scholastic and Dream Team.
