Davila is transferring from the University of Southern Indiana
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of sophomore forward David Davila (Elkhart, Ind.). Davila is transferring from the University of Southern Indiana.
"David comes to us from Southern Indiana, where in his first two seasons he earned Ohio Valley Conference All‑Newcomer honors, was named an OVC Player to Watch and earned All‑Conference recognition," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "At 6'4", David has excellent instincts in the box, scoring nine goals for the Screaming Eagles, while also holding the ball well and stretching the game when needed. He is strong in the air and a willing presser, making life difficult for opponents. We're most excited about his growth potential within our system and are happy he's joining us this spring to begin that process."
Davila led Southern Indiana with six goals and 13 points during the 2025 season as he was named to the All-OVC second team. He was awarded the OVC Offensive Player of the Week in October. As a freshman in 2024, Davila was selected to the OVC All-Newcomer team as he tied for the team lead in points (8), goals (3) and assists (2).
Davila was a member of Indy Eleven Academy of MLS Next from 2019-24. He set a team record by scoring 39 goals during his U-19 season.
Davila attended Concord High School in Elkhart, Ind., and graduated in 2024.
