Libby Boland Named America East Offensive Player of the Week

Boland scored a career-high five points in the Wildcats’ 9-8 overtime win over Rhode Island.
BOSTON — University of New Hampshire sophomore attacker Libby Boland (Victor, N.Y.) was named America East Offensive Player of the Week on Monday (Feb. 16).
Boland had a career day in the Wildcats' 9-8 overtime win over Rhode Island (Feb. 10), turning in a career-high four goals alongside an assist for the sophomore's first-career five-point performance. Additionally, Boland logged three ground balls, one draw control, and finished her day shooting .800, netting four-of-five shots.
With her nomination, Boland earns her first career weekly award as well as the first weekly award across New Hampshire's roster this season.

The Wildcats open their home schedule against Dartmouth (0-0, 0-0 Ivy) at Tucker Field on Wednesday, Feb. 20, when the Wildcats face the Big Green for a 4pm draw.
