The men’s team finished the day in second while the women closed out in fourth

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. — Sophomore Clara Hegan (Ottawa, Ontario) finished fourth overall in the women's freestyle sprint, skiing a 3:15.64 time, while Ben Oldham (Carbondale, Colo.) (2:48.40) and Nate Streubel (2:48.73) finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the men's freestyle sprint, headlining the University of New Hampshire's Nordic ski team's second day at the St. Lawrence Carnival.

Following the final day of Nordic action in Lake Placid, the men's team finished in second with 103 points, trailing the University of Vermont (140 points), while the women's team finished in fourth with 85 points, leaving the Wildcats in third place overall ahead of the alpine competitions on Jan. 22 and 23.
