Three Wildcats Named to America East All-Academic Team

Blume, Mahon and Mahoney earn the honor
BOSTON – University of New Hampshire sophomore Grace Blume (Dedham, Mass.), sophomore Grace Mahon (Orange, Conn.) and junior Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.) have been named to the 2024-25 America East Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team.
Mahoney earns this accolade for the second straight season, while Blume and Mahon are first time honorees.
Blume, who has a 3.61 GPA as an Occupational Therapy Major, captured gold in the one-meter diving event and silver in the three-meter at the 2025 America East Championship as she was named the Outstanding Diver of the Meet. She was also the America East Diver of the Week twice this season.
Mahon has a 3.84 GPA as a Psychology major. She earned a silver medal in the 400 medley relay, a bronze in the 100 butterfly and another bronze as part of the 200 freestyle relay at the 2025 America East Championship. Mahon was named the America East Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 5. She also competed at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship.
Mahoney, who has a 3.95 GPA as a Health Management & Policy major, won gold in the 100 free and bronze in the 50 free and 200 free, while she was a key member of both free relay wins as the Wildcats took gold in the 400 and 800 free. She was named the America East Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 14. She also competed at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship. Mahoney has earned All-America East accolades 14 times during her career.
This season, the Wildcats won the America East Championship for the fifth time in the last six years. The Wildcats have a league-record 12 championships (1998, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025). UNH also went undefeated with a 7-0-1 record marking the second time in program history the 'Cats have a recorded an undefeated season. The 2005 team went 9-0-0 and won the America East Championship.
