Rossi named Hockey East Player of the Week

Rossi scored three points in the team’s win over Assumption on Friday (Oct. 3)
AMESBURY, Mass. — University of New Hampshire freshman forward Nina Rossi (Pittsgrove, N.J.) was named Hockey East Player of the Week on Monday, Oct. 6.
Rossi was instrumental in the Wildcats' 5-1 win over Assumption University on Friday (Oct. 3), earning a pair of goals, including her first career tally, and an assist, totaling three points on seven shots and a +2 rating over the weekend.
Through four games this season, Rossi paces the Wildcats' offense with four points (2-2-4).
