Men’s Hockey Earns 13 Selections to Hockey East All-Academic Team

Jeremy Forman named a Distinguished Scholar.

AMESBURY, Mass. – Thirteen members of the 2023-24 University of New Hampshire men's hockey team have been named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have recorded a 3.00 GPA or above for each semester.

Senior goalie Jeremy Forman (Northbrook, Ill.) was recognized as a Distinguished Scholar for being named to the All-Academic Team for all four seasons.

Senior forward Nick Cafarelli (Middleton, Mass.), junior captain Alex Gagne (Bedford, N.H.) and junior defenseman Connor Sweeney (North Andover, Mass.) earned this accolade for the third time, while senior goalie Raphael Gaughan (Somersworth, N.H.) and sophomore goalie Tyler Muszelik (Long Valley, N.J.) were selected for the second time.

UNH's first time honorees were junior defenseman Jack Babbage (Tully, N.Y.), junior goalie Jakob Hellsten (Ljusdal, Sweden), junior defenseman Luis Lindner (Spittal an der Drau, Austria), junior forward Conor Lovett (Franklin, Mass.), senior defenseman Luke Reid (Warman, Saskatchewan), freshman forward Jason Siedem (Madison, N.J.) and freshman forward Ronan Walsh (Andover, N.H.).
