Kelly Earns NEWISA All-New England Third Team Recognition

DURHAM, N.H. – Senior back Alivia Kelly (Pembroke, Mass.) of the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team has been named to the NEWISA All-New England Third Team.
Kelly led the team in minutes played this past season with 1427, only missing 13 minutes the entire season. She buried one goal and two assists for four points. Her goal came on Senior Day when she scored from 40 yards out off a free kick which turned out to be the game-winning goal. Kelly was a vital part of the Wildcat defense that led the conference in goals per game with 0.67.
Kelly completed her bachelor's degree this past Fall in neuroscience & behavior with a 3.82 GPA. She is a member of the National College Athlete Honor Society.
In addition to the All-New England NEWISA Third Team recognition, Kelly has received nine other honor this year based on her performance on and off the field. Kelly was named the America East Defender of the Year by the conference. She was also placed on the America East All-Tournament Team. Kelly was named an All-Conference First Team athlete and was named to the All-Academic Team, as well as the Academic All-District team. Kelly was selected to the 2023 NEWISA Senior Bowl. She was also named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team along with the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region Team and the Scholar All-America Team.
