Eli Goldman Named America East Offensive Player of the Week

BOSTON – Graduate student Eli Goldman (Minneapolis, Minn.) of the No. 19 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team has been named the America East Offensive Player of the Week as the Wildcats went 2-0-0. This is the first time that Goldman has earned this accolade.

Goldman posted two goals for four points on the week. He scored the first goal of the game in the 2-1 win versus Hofstra, while he netted the game winner in the 2-1 win against NJIT.

Goldman leads the team and is tied for second in America East with seven goals. He also leads the team with 14 points. Goldman has 19 goals and one assist for 39 career points.

UNH (9-1-4, 2-0-3 America East) is back in action on Thursday, Oct. 26, when the Wildcats play at UMass Lowell at 7 p.m. The 'Cats then return to Durham for the regular season finale versus No. 16 Vermont on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 6 p.m.
