Four different Wildcats scored to contribute to the win over the Bobcats.
DURHAM, N.H. – Senior forward Tola Showunmi (Enfield, England) tallied two goals to lead the No. 9 nationally-ranked University of New Hampshire men's soccer team to a 5-0 win over Quinnipiac on Tuesday night. Graduate student Linus Fallberg (Jonkoping, Sweden), sophomore Eli Goldman (Minneapolis, Minn.) and graduate student Johann von Knebel (Hamburg, Germany) also netted goals to lift the Wildcats to the win.
The Wildcats won the matchup of undefeated teams as UNH improves to 8-0-0, while the Bobcats fall to 5-1-0. The Wildcats have outscored the opposition 16-2 so far this season and have recorded six shutouts.
UNH is one of just four teams around the nation that have perfect records. The other three are No. 1 Georgetown (6-0-0), No. 3 Washington (6-0-0) and No. 8 Tulsa (6-0-0). UP NEXT:

Jacob Gould (Exeter, N.H.) fired the first shot of the game to the bottom right corner in the seventh minute but the attempt was saved by Antreas Hadjigavriel.
Quinnipiac's Brage Aasen then sent a shot from just outside the penalty area in the 29th minute, to the bottom right of the goal, but UNH junior goalkeeper Jassem Koleilat(Dubai, United Arab Emirates) dove to snag the ball and make the save to keep the score 0-0.
Showunmi netted the first goal of the game for the Wildcats after he buried a shot from 18 yards out to the mid-left side of the goal in the 31st minute (30:54), to snag a 1-0 lead over the Bobcats.
Showunmi then headed the ball from the left side of the net off a pass from graduate student Sam Henneberg (Charlotte, N.C.) to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead in the 42nd minute (41:22).
In the 44th minute (43:24), Goldman grabbed the ball off of a shot from sophomore Dylan Maxon (Clifton Park, N.Y.) that was saved by Hadjigavriel, and then tapped the ball into the left side of the net to power UNH to a 3-0 advantage.

UNH tallied another goal to increase the lead to 4-0 after Henneberg lobbed a pass to von Knebel in the 60th minute (59:15), who ripped a shot from just inside the box to the left side of the goal.
Graduate student Victor Menudier (Limoges, France) made a cross-net pass to Fallberg, who one-timed the ball just past Hadjigavriel to lengthen the lead for the 'Cats to 5-0 in the 62nd minute (63:34).
The goal would be the last of the game for the 5-0 final score.

UNH outshot Quinnipiac 16-3 with 11 shots on goal, while the Bobcats had two shots on goal.
Quinnipiac attempted three corner kicks, while UNH took two.
Koleilat made two saves to improve to 8-0-0 and Hadjigavriel posted six saves for the Bobcats.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
Showunmi now leads the team in goals with five and points with 11.
Goldman scored his first career goal, while Maxon tallied his first career point off of an assist.
The Wildcats now lead the all-time series versus the Bobcats, 5-1-0
The Wildcats are 4-0-0 at home this season. UNH is 38-1-5 all-time at Wildcat Stadium, outscoring the opposition by an 88-15 advantage.
UNH is 14-0-2 over the last 16 regular season games and have won 12 straight.
UNH is 30-5-7 versus non-conference competition over the last five seasons.
