Joe Dincecco Joins Staff as Assistant Coach

DURHAM, N.H. – Marc Hubbard, seventh-year head coach of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer program, announced Tuesday the addition of Joe Dincecco to the staff as an assistant coach.
"We are very excited and lucky to get someone of Joe's caliber in this coaching position," Hubbard said. "He is a person and coach that is very well respected and we look forward to seeing how he can help continue to elevate the program. We can not wait to get Joe and his family up into Wildcat Country."
In nine seasons of collegiate coaching, Dincecco has been part of four Coach of the Year awards, three regular-season titles, three conference tournament championships, two NCAA tourney appearances, one NAIA tourney appearance and 53 all-conference selections.
Dincecco, a 2007 graduate of the University of Richmond, was head coach at Friends University (Wichita, Kansas) the past two seasons and was named the KCAC co-Coach of the Year in 2019. He led the Falcons to the 2019 conference tournament title and a berth in the NAIA national championship tournament.
The team finished with a 29-7-2 overall record in his two years at the helm, and that .789 winning percentage was the highest of any team in the Friends athletic department during that span.
Under Dincecco's tutelage, the Falcons garnered a KCAC Newcomer of the Year and one Freshman of the Year award, and they received 13 all-conference team selections.
Dincecco was an assistant coach at the University of South Florida for two seasons. He arrived in January 2017 and left in April 2019 to take the head coaching position at Friends.
He was also an assistant coach at Florida Gulf Coast University for three seasons (July 2014 to January 2017) and helped the Eagles win two ASUN regular-season and tournament titles, and the program's first NCAA tourney victory. Dincecco aided in the development of three players who signed a contract with a Major League Soccer team, as well as that of six others who signed a contract in other professional leagues.
Dincecco began his coaching career as an assistant at Manhattanville College for two seasons (August 2012 to June 2014) and the Valiants won the 2012 conference regular-season title.
Prior to coaching, Dincecco worked for the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS) for almost five years, including the last 4+ years as the team administrator (January 2008 to July 2012).
Dincecco graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Richmond in '07 and went on to earn a master's in Sports Business Management from Manhattanville College in 2014.
He was a four-year letterwinner (2003-06) at Richmond and captained the team as a senior.
Dincecco's coaching certifications include USSF National B License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, NSCAA National Diploma, NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma and NSCAA State Diploma.
The UNH men's soccer team earned the program's all-time high national ranking of No. 10 during the Spring 2021 season and finished at No. 19. The Wildcats won a second consecutive America East regular-season title, third straight conference tourney title and advanced to the NCAA championships for the fourth consecutive year.
