Elsewhere in the meet, other Wildcats also scored, several with personal bests, in Sunday's competition. Senior thrower Zachary Astle (Newbury, N.H.) took third in the shot put after finishing runner up in the weight throw on Saturday. Astle's best attempt went 57'6.5", good for a new career-best in the shot put.
In the 3000-meter run, senior Nicolas Sevilla-Connelly (Chester, N.H.) took sixth overall with a new personal best time of 8:13.05. Fellow senior Alexander Saveliev (Concord, N.H.) took seventh in the 1000m, with a time of 2:33.11.
In the 4x800m relay, Saturday's qualifying team of senior Samuel Lanternier (Derry, N.H.), sophomore Spenser Sawyer (Windham, N.H.), Alexander Saveliev, and senior Matthew Adams (Concord, N.H.) finished sixth overall with a finishing time of 7:33.75, which beat Saturday's qualifying time and was UNH's best 4x800 time this season.
The Wildcats finished sixth in the team standings out of 37 teams. UNH tallied 35 total points in the meet.
