New Hampshire and California natives will join the program in fall of 2021.
DURHAM, N.H. – Addison Cox (Northwood, N.H.) and Jill Walker (Simi Valley, Calif.) have signed National Letters of Intent to compete for the University of New Hampshire women's cross country and track & field teams and will enroll in the fall of 2021.

Cox just concluded an outstanding season as she won the New Hampshire NHIAA State Divisional Championship and then went on to capture first place at the NHIAA Meet of Champions. She has had an outstanding career on the cross country and track & field teams at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy and has been coached by her father Tim.
"Addison has had a very successful high school career and a championship fall season," said head coach Robert Hoppler. "We are very excited to welcome one of the best athletes from New Hampshire. We are looking to continue the tradition of New Hampshire athletes thriving in our program here at UNH."

Walker has also had an outstanding career at Simi Valley High School which included placing 12th overall in the state of California in cross country in 2019. Walker attending UNH will be a unique homecoming as her mother is from Dover, N.H. and she has family in Madbury, N.H.
"We are tremendously excited to welcome an athlete of Jill's caliber into our program," said Hoppler. "And we are looking forward to having her bring the success she has had on the West Coast to the East Coast."
