WILDCATS TRAVEL TO NORTHEASTERN; TAKE ON UMASS AT THE WHITT: The University of New Hampshire men's hockey team will take on No. 9 Northeastern at Matthews Arena on Friday, Feb. 2 at 7:00 p.m. The Wildcats will then return to the Whittemore Center on Saturday, Feb. 3, to take on UMass at 7:00 p.m.
GIVEAWAY: The game on Saturday versus UMass will feature the third Coach Umile commemorative pin giveaway. The first 1,500 fans through the doors will receive a pin.
MASCOT NIGHT: The Saturday game against UMass is also "Mascot Night." Local mascots will be in attendance including Fungo of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Slugger of the Portland Sea Dogs.
TICKETS: Tickets can be purchased at the Whittemore Center Box Office, online at UNHWildcats.com or by calling 603-862-4000. UNH students can get their free tickets by signing up online here.
NEXT UP: The Wildcats will return to the Whittemore Center on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9-10, to take on Vermont at 7:00 p.m. on Coach Umile Weekend. On Friday, there will be 2,000 Coach Umile Replica Jersey T-Shirts given away, while Saturday 2,000 Coach Umile Bobbleheads will be given out at the game. Also on Saturday, there will be a special edition "Shirt Off Our Back" jersey auction. Both nights there will be special on-ice recognition with family, friends, alumni and hockey notables. Join us for a special weekend at the Whitt honoring Coach Umile.

STRONG PENALTY KILL: The Wildcats are fourth nationally and first in Hockey East with a .876 penalty kill percentage. UNH is 99-for-113 on the penalty kill only allowing 14 goals.
THE MATCHUPS: UNH is sixth in Hockey East in scoring offense with 2.81 goals scored per game, while Northeastern is first (3.50) and UMass is eighth (2.65). The Wildcats are sixth in scoring defense with 2.77 goals allowed per game, while the Huskies are second (2.31) and the Minutemen are 11th (3.23). UNH is 10th with a .173 power play percentage, while Northeastern is first (.269) and UMass is 11th (.152).
