DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team (23-4, 13-1 AE) welcomes the University of Massachusetts Lowell (3-25, 0-15 AE) to Lundholm Gymnasium for Senior & Fan Appreciation Night on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.

UNH plays its final regular season game at UMBC on Sunday Feb. 26 on ESPN3. The Wildcats will host the America East championship game on Friday, March 10 at 4:30 on ESPNU if they win their tournament quarterfinal and semifinal games in Portland. Tickets are available HERE.

The Wildcats clinched the top seed for the America East tournament and their first outright regular season championship with Saturday's 62-57 win at Hartford. UNH will play the No. 8 seed in the tournament's first game on Saturday, March 4 at noon. The winner of that game will advance to the semifinals and play at 2 p.m. on Sunday against the winner of a game between the No. 4 seed and No. 5 seed. If the Wildcats win their semifinal game, they will host the America East championship game in Lundholm Gymnasium on Friday, March 10 at 4:30 p.m. That game will be televised on ESPNU. The Wildcats have never played in a league championship game.
LIFE AFTER THE AMERICA EAST TOURNAMENT
The winner of the America East tournament earns an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The Wildcats have never played in the NCAA tournament. UNH is assured of having more basketball to play after the league tournament. As the league's regular season champion, the Wildcats are guaranteed a spot in the Women's National Invitational Tournament if they don't earn the bid to the NCAA tournament. The Wildcats have been to the WNIT one time. They played a first-round game at Arkansas State and fell, 79-65, at the end of the 1998-99 season. They were 19-8 overall that year under coach Sue Johnson.
