Thirteen Women's Basketball Players Earn Spot on America East Academic Honor Roll

Ten Wildcats Make the Commissioner's Honor Roll
BOSTON – Thirteen student-athletes on the 2026 University of New Hampshire women's basketball team were named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2026 semester with a breakdown of 10 on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and three on the Honor Roll.
That calculates to two-thirds of the team on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and a total of 87 percent of the roster (13 of 15 players) to earn an academic accolade in the spring semester.
Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a spring semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a spring semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.
Grad students Sydney Lusher (Oneida, N.Y.) and Kenzie Matulonis (Raynham, Mass.) as well as freshman Carolina Williams (Valatie, N.Y.) led the Wildcats with a perfect 4.0 GPA in the Spring 2026 semester.
Matulonis earned this distinction for the fifth consecutive year while Lusher received this honor both years as a Wildcat.
That trio was joined on the Commissioner's Honor Roll by grad student Sophia Sabino (Rumson, N.J.), seniors Diana Eliasson (Stockholm, Sweden) and Lucia Melero Sabat (Barcelona, Spain), and juniors Maggie Cavanaugh (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.) and Katie Ledden (Clark, N.J.). Alia Cordone (Davis, Calif.) and Averie Harding (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) also earned this distinction as rookies.
Eliasson has received academic recognition all four years, including two on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The UNH women's basketball team posted a 3.45 GPA in the Spring 2026 semester following a 3.54 in Fall 2025.
Senior Camryn Fauria (North Attleborough, Mass.) and junior Jamie Kent (Dublin, Calif.) made the Honor Roll in their first and only year as a UNH Wildcat. Sophomore Elizabeth Lavoie (Derry, N.H.) also earned a spot on the Honor Roll.
In the Spring 2026 semester, 1,960 student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports earned Honor Roll recognition for achieving at least a 3.0 GPA – 1,372 earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better.
