STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Junior center Carlie Pogue (Cincinnati, Ohio) scored 17 points and added eight rebounds to lead the streaking University of New Hampshire women's basketball team to its 13th straight win, a 56-45 triumph at Stony Brook on Wednesday night.
The Wildcats improved their best records in program history to 19-3 overall and 9-0 in America East.
Junior guard Olivia Healy (Reading, Mass.) contributed 10 points and six rebounds and junior guard Brittni Lai (Irvington, N.Y.) had eight points.
With the 19 victories, UNH has matched coach Maureen Magarity's best win total in her seven years as coach. Her 2013-14 team went 19-12.
The Wildcats, who lead America East in free throw percentage, made 14 of their 15 foul shots.

The Wildcats play at Albany on Monday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. and then return to Durham for a pair of ESPN3 home games. They take on Vermont on Thursday, Feb. 9 in Lundholm Gymnasium at 7 p.m. and Binghamton on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 1 p.m.

HIGHLIGHTS
The Wildcats started their second run through the league schedule with another win over the Seawolves.
The first time around, the Wildcats needed their largest comeback in two years to knock off Stony Brook at home on Jan. 4. They trailed 14-2 after one period, were down by 18 points in the third period and roared back for a 49-46 win.
This time, UNH trailed in the first period and briefly at the start of the third and then took charge of the game.
The Seawolves pulled within 42-39 on a Davion Wingate three-pointer with 8:16 left in the fourth period.
Healy hit a shot down the lane and Pogue hit a couple of foul shots to start a 9-0 run and UNH pulled away.
The Wildcats made two of their eight three-point attempts. Junior guard Aliza Simpson (Londonderry, N.H.) had both of the baskets.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Stony Brook held a 15-13 lead after the first period.
After a streaky second quarter, the Wildcats were in front 27-26 at the half.
UNH ran off the first eight points of the second period to go up 21-15. Stony Brook answered with the next seven points and then the Wildcats had six more in a row.
Lai led UNH with six points in the half. Pogue had four points and five rebounds.
The Wildcats opened it up to 40-34 after three periods. Pogue made all five of her foul shots in the period and had seven points total.
UNH stretched out its lead in a 16-11 fourth quarter. Pogue closed out her night with six more points and Simpson had four points.
