New Hampshire's three-game homestand continues Saturday against Bryant University and concludes Tuesday vs. Niagara University. This is the Wildcats' longest homestand of the 2017-18 season.
Saturday's game is the sixth between the UNH and Bryant men's basketball teams. They have played annually since the 2012-13 season.
UNH has a 2-3 lifetime record against Bryant University, but the Wildcats have won each of the last two meetings. New Hampshire prevailed 86-73 last December at Chace Athletic Center. The last time these teams met at Lundholm Gym, the 'Cats were 75-67 victors.
Iba Camara is No. 8 in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (8.43) and 13th in double-doubles (four). He is 25th with a conference-leading 10.1 rebounds per game.
Senior forward Tanner Leissner became the fifth UNH player to score 1,500 career points and the eighth to eclipse 700 career rebounds during his 20-point, seven-rebound effort Wednesday against Boston U.; he is the first Wildcat in program history to reach both milestones.
Leissner is atop the America East leaderboard in both free throws made (41) and attempted (55).
Josh Hopkins recorded career highs in points (19), 3's (four), assists (two) and minutes (38) Wednesday vs. Boston U.; he also tied his bests in rebounds (four) and blocks (one).
Elijah Jordan ranks fourth in the conference in assists per game (4.3) and third in assist:turnover ratio (2.00)
The six-game losing streak is the longest by the 'Cats since the ended the 2013-14 with seven consecutive losses.
