Graham Scores Career-High 22 Points in 92-84 Loss at Bryant

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Junior guard Jack Graham (Smithfield, R.I.) scored a career-high 22 points but the University of New Hampshire men's basketball team was defeated 92-84 by Bryant University at Chace Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore forward John Squire (Sausalito, Calif.) scored 13 points and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds. Freshman guard Tyler Bike (Merrimack, N.H.) also scored 13 points. Junior forward Belal El Shakery (Alexandria, Egypt) and junior guard KiJan Robinson (Apopka, Fla.) also scored in double digits for the Wildcats with 10 points apiece. Junior guard Comeh Emuobor (Raleigh, N.C.) finished with eight points and six rebounds.
Bryant was led by the quartet of Timofei Rudovskii (23 points), Aaron Davis (17), Keegan Harvey (17) and Ty Tabales (16).
UNH, which entered the game on a four-game winning streak, is now 8-13 overall and 4-4 in America East. Bryant improves to 7-15, 3-5.

FIRST HALF
- Squire made back-to-back layups and Bike connected from 3-point range to give UNH a 7-0 lead at 17:26.
- Bryant closed within a point, 13-12, at 14:12 before the Wildcats went on a 7-0 run to extend the advantage to 20-12.
- UNH led by as many as nine points four times before the Bulldogs rallied to take a 40-37 lead at 1:00.
- Both teams added two points in the closing minute of the first half to send Bryant into halftime with a 42-39 lead.
SECOND HALF
- Davide Poser (Veneto, Italy) made a 3-pointer from the top-left side to put UNH back in front, 49-48, at 16:50.
- Bryant went on a 14-2 run to build a double-digit lead of 62-51 at 13:12.
- The Bulldogs' lead grew to as many as 13 points, 68-55, at 10:27.
- UNH responded with a 13-5 run to trim the deficit to five points, 73-68, on El Shakery's hook shot in the lane.
- The teams exchanged points and Bike's 3-pointer from the right wing advanced the score to 78-73.
- Bryant inched ahead, 83-74, when Keegan Harvey scored on an offensive rebound at 2:18.
- Graham's driving layup off a turnover once again lifted the 'Cats within five points, 83-78, at 1:23.
- The Bulldogs went 5-for-6 at the foul line to extend the advantage to 88-78 with 47 seconds on the clock and the 'Cats did not get closer than eight points the rest of the game.
UNH NOTEBOOK
- Graham surpassed his previous record of 21 points established last November at Providence College.
- He also tied his personal best of three steals.
- Robinson and Poser tied for the team high of four assists.
- Squire was highly-efficient from the floor with 5 of 6 shooting and he also made 3 of 4 free throws.
- Robinson and Poser tied for the team high of four assists and Squire had three.
- UNH has scored 80+ points three of the last four games.
GAME NOTEBOOK
- Bryant made 32 of 37 free throws (86.5%) in comparison to UNH's 20 of 28 (71.4%).
- There were only three ties and three lead changes.
- UNH led for 17:32 in the first half, whereas the Bulldogs led for 18:37 in the second half.
