Graham Scores Game-High 17 Points in Loss at UAlbany

ALBANY, N.Y. – Junior guard Jack Graham (Smithfield, R.I.) scored a game-high 17 points but the University of New Hampshire men's basketball team was defeated 84-61 by UAlbany at Broadview Center on Saturday afternoon.
Graham shot 6-for-9 from the floor, including 3 of 5 from 3-point range, and made a pair of free throws to finish with 17 points. She also had four rebounds, three steals, a block and an assist.
Sophomore forward John Squire (Sausalito, Calif.) finished with 12 points and team-high seven rebounds, as well as three assists, two steals and a pair of blocks.
Okechukwu Okeke and Miles Rose scored 16 points apiece for UAlbany. Amir Lindsey (15 points) and Zach Matulu (14) also scored in double digits. Okeke pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds while Lindsey led all players with seven assists.
UNH moves to 8-20 overall and 4-11 in America East while UAlbany improves to 11-19, 7-8.

FIRST HALF
- Davide Poser (Veneto, Italy) scored the first points of the game with a 3-pointer at 19:31 and Tyler Bike (Merrimack, N.H.) made a 3-pointer at 18:09 to give the 'Cats a 6-2 lead.
- Isaac Abidde gave the Great Danes an 8-6 lead at 16:10 and the home team maintained the lead the rest of the way.
- UAlbany took its first double-digit lead, 18-7, at 11:32.
- The advantage grew to 21 points, 28-7, at 7:42 and the margin to a 40-16 lead at the half.
- UAlbany built the 24-point lead on the strength on 58.6% (17-29) shooting from the floor in comparison to UNH's 20.8% (5-24)
SECOND HALF
- The Great Danes' lead hovered in the 20-point range a majority of the second half; the only exception was a three-minute span midway through the half where the differential was in the lower 30's.
UNH NOTEBOOK
- Graham matched his personal best of three steals; he has reached that number in a game five times.
- Squire was a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor. He matched his career high of two blocks; it is the fourth time in his career he rejected a pair of shots in a game.
- Bike scored nine points on three 3-pointers.
GAME NOTEBOOK
- UAlbany shot 55.7% (34-61) from the floor; in comparison, UNH was 20 of 57 (35.1%).
- The Great Danes outscored the 'Cats 50-22 in the paint and had a 40-31 rebounding advantage.
