After this Saturday, the team welcomes conference foes for the America East Pre-Conference Meet on Saturday, April 30. With that said, UNH track & field supporters and alums are going to have a few more chances to check out the team this season.
Junior Michael Shanahan (Dover, N.H) competed in three throwing events last week and should help the scoring for UNH this weekend. He won the hammer throw with a 194 foot, 7 inch throw last Saturday. He also placed second in the discus (143' 11") and sixth in the shot put (44' 8").
Juniors Jacob Kittredge (Amherst, N.H.) and Nathan Kittredge (Amherst, N.H.) look for top finishes at home this weekend. In that meet, Nate marked a time of 1:58.72 in the 800-meter run, while Jacob ran a time of 1:58.40 in the same race. The Kittredge's set career highs in the 800-meter run preliminaries at the NEICAAA Indoor Track & Field Championships back in late February and look to beat those as the outdoor season gets underway.
Freshman Cody Symonds (Alton, N.H.) looks to produce for the Wildcats as he continues his first collegiate outdoor track season. Symonds competed at UNH last weekend in the 1500-meter event, recording a time of 4:06.96 in the finals for third place.

Allen participates in a handful of events for UNH and looks to set a number of career highs this coming outdoor season.
Junior Ryan Maney (Reading, Mass.) and senior Daniel Johnson (Lancaster, N.H.) hope to lead the Wildcats to victory in the hurdles. In the last meet, Maney competed in the 110-hurdles final (15.16 seconds) and the 4x100-meter event with a time of 43.13 seconds.
