WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Junior Drew Piazza (Danvers, Mass.) of the University of New Hampshire men's track & field team finished second in the seeded 800-meter run at the Colonial relays on the College of William & Mary campus Friday afternoon.

The men's team ranks 19^th out of 36 teams with 10 points after day one of the meet.

Drew Piazza: 2^nd 800 – 1:48.90
Brendan McCarthy: 29^th 5,000 – 14:55.56

'Cat Facts

Piazza began his outdoor season with a top-2 finish after competing at the NCAA Championships in the 800-meter dash.
The junior placed ninth at the NCAAs for his first All-American status in the 800-meter preliminaries in the indoor season.
McCarthy recorded his fastest 5,000-meter time since the 2014 indoor season when he set his personal record time of 14:50.36.

UNH competes tomorrow at the University of Maine in a tri-meet with Bates College.
