65 Percent of Roster Makes Commissioner's Honor Roll

BOSTON – Thirty-four student-athletes on the 2026 University of New Hampshire men's track & field team were named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2026 semester with a breakdown of 24 on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and 10 on the Honor Roll.

That calculates 92 percent of the roster (34 of 37 student-athletes) to earn an academic accolade in the spring semester with 65 percent on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a spring semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a spring semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.

An impressive nine Wildcats – almost 25 percent of the roster – headlined the list by recording a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring semester: sophomore Danny Anderson (Naugatuck, Conn.), freshman Shawn Boudreau (Hudson, N.H.), sophomore Christian Cerullo (Yardley, Pa.), freshman Jake Kollmer (Saranac Lake, N.Y.), senior Kyran Maher (Andover, Mass.), senior Liam McGovern (North Kingstown, R.I.), senior Michael Mulcahy (Weymouth, Mass.), sophomore Ian Smith (Munster, Ind.) and senior Caden Zalenski (Milford, N.H.).

Seniors Jayson Blaisdell (Barrington, N.H.), Nathan Fletcher (Portsmouth, N.H.), Samuel Hilts (Concord, N.H.), Zachary Hooper (Concord, N.H.), John Murphy (Deerfield, N.H.) and Jack Washam (Nashua, N.H.) also made the grade for the Commissioner's Honor Roll.

The were joined by juniors Matthew Allen (East Kingston, N.H.), Avery Cipcic (Suffield, Conn.), Julian Rime (New City, N.Y.) and Gunnar Sokol (Berwick, Maine), as well as sophomores Sam Grube (Dover, N.H.), Porter Hurteau(Milton, Vt.), Xavier Lemieux (Buxton, Maine), Gavin Malark (Stratham, N.H.) and Carter Norton (East Greenbush, N.Y.).

Hooper and Zalenski were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll all four years in track & field, while both Allen and Cipcic have been honored all three years. Anderson, Hurteau, Malark, Norton and Smith have been recognized twice in as many years.

A quartet of seniors – Yoofi Abaka-Amuah (Worcester, Mass.), Cameron Jacobs (Naugatuck, Conn.), Max LaPointe(Amesbury, Mass.) and Joshua Lesniak (Durham, Conn.) – and sophomores Carson Eames (Littleton, N.H.) and James Gecek (High Bridge, N.J.) were named to the Honor Roll.

Noah Buchanan (Murrieta, Calif.), Ethan Palmer (Bowdoin, Maine), Evan Wong (Beverly, Mass.) and Ryan Zumbach (Hampton, N.H.) made the Honor Roll as rookies.

In the Spring 2026 semester, 1,960 student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports earned Honor Roll recognition for achieving at least a 3.0 GPA – 1,372 earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better.
