STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team suffered its first America East Conference loss of the season Saturday night in a 2-0 defeat at Stony Brook University.

Highlights
--First Half—
In the 19th minute of play, Stony Brook broke the scoreless tie as Thibault Duval scored his third goal of the season. The play started with Danny Espinoza sending a through ball up to Duval who then went on a breakaway. He dribbled into the box and found the back of the net for the goal.
The Seawolves took a 2-0 lead in the 21st minute as Duval scored his second goal of the game and fourth of the season. Espinoza assisted on the goal again as he sent a cross into the box that Duval one-timed into the net.
--Second Half—
Wingate nearly got the Wildcats on the board in the 60th minute of play as he ripped a shot on goal, but McMahon was able to come up with the save. The Wildcats upped the tempo in the second half, recording 10 shots in the frame. They also had nine corner kicks
