Liam Devlin, junior forward, was named the Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week on Feb. 19.
Liam had a total of four goals during the Border Battle games against Maine on Feb. 16 and 17.
During the 6-2 victory on Friday night, Liam scored a hat trick. This was the first time in Liam’s career he had a trick hat. The last time a Wildcat scored a hat trick for the men’s hockey team was 2022.
Liam scored his fourth goal of the weekend during the Saturday evening 5-2 win.
He was also credited with an assist and a blocked shot in the second win of the weekend.
The ‘Cats will go to UMass on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. for another Hockey East series. UNH will be back at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex on Saturday, Feb 24 at 7 p.m. to host UMass. Both games will be on ESPN+.
