Graduate student captain nordic skier Luci Anderson has been named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on Feb. 5.
Luci individually won the 7.5K freestyle on day two of the Harvard Carnival at Craftsbury and Burke Mountain on Feb. 3. This helped the women’s team place second in the 7.5K freestyle with 107 points.
This is the fifth first-place finish of Luci’s career and the seventh career podium.
Luci also placed fifth during day one of the carnival for her performance in the 15K classic.
The UNH skiers will participate at the Williams Carnival on Feb. 16-17. The Nordic races are at Prospect Mountain and the alpine events are at Jiminy Peak Mountain.
