Jill Walker of the UNH women's cross country team was named a Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 30. She competed in the America East Cross Country Championship hosted by Maine on Oct. 27 at Penobscot Valley Country Club.

Jill was UNH's top finisher on the 5K course with a time of 18 minutes, 15.19 seconds, which placed eighth among 81 total runners. She earned All-Conference Second Team honors with this finish.

Jill's efforts helped the 'Cats to a fifth-place team finish.

The Wildcats return to action at the NCAA Regional Meet in Bronx, N.Y., on Friday, Nov. 10.
