Sophomore Nicole Poulakis (Ajax, Ontario) of the UNH field hockey team was named Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week on Sept. 25.
Poulakis led UNH to a 2-1 comeback win at Vermont on Sept. 22. Poulakis extended her goal streak to four games by scoring a goal at 11th-ranked Boston College. Her tally lifted the Wildcats within 3-1 in the third quarter.
Poulakis now has seven goals and five assists totaling 19 points. She is tied for the lead in points with teammate sophomore Tasmin Cookman (Working, England).
The Wildcats are staying in Durham, N.H. on Friday Sept. 29 to take on Bryant in an America East game at 2 p.m.
