Before UNH
Stephens joins the Wildcats following a successful diving and gymnastics career at Clovis West High School in Fresno, California.
A four-time all-conference diver, Stephens helped lead Clovis West to multiple conference and championship titles. As a senior, she earned all-conference honors, was named a Scholar-Athlete and helped the Golden Eagles capture both the TRAC and Valley championships. She also received the Gymnastics Pursuing Victory With Honor Award and earned recognition as a Student of Academic Distinction, a CSF Lifetime Member and a recipient of the Principal's Medallion.
During her junior season, Stephens earned all-conference honors in diving, helped both the swim and dive and gymnastics teams win TRAC championships, and captured a national title in the Break the Barriers 3D One Arrow competition in both the individual and team divisions. As a sophomore, she broke the school's freshman 11-dive record with a score of 388.90, earned the Diving Coaches Award and helped Clovis West win TRAC and Valley championships. She also was named Diving Most Improved Athlete as a freshman.
In addition to her diving accomplishments, Stephens is a national champion archer in Olympic recurve competition and has competed in the sport for four years.
Academically, she graduated near the top of her class, ranking 16th among 517 students. Her honors include AP Scholar recognition, Principal's Honor Roll, Student of Academic Distinction, CSF Lifetime Membership and Scholar-Athlete honors.
Personal
Born in Fresno, California. Daughter of Jeremiah and Christina Stephens. Has an older brother, Lucas.
Stephens plans to study wildlife and conservation biology and hopes to pursue a career as a wildlife biologist while volunteering in wildlife rehabilitation efforts.
Outside of athletics, she enjoys hiking, art, reading, animals and crafts. She particularly enjoys making bracelets and other handmade gifts.
A dedicated volunteer, Stephens has spent the past four years working in her church café, where she learned to prepare a wide variety of coffee and specialty drinks.

Fun Fact
No matter where her family travels around the world, they seem to find a friendly cat to pet. Stephens says it has become an unofficial family tradition.
