At UNH
Mikish earned High Honors and Honors recognition during her freshman year at UNH.
Before UNH
Mikish graduated first in her class from the Kharkiv Professional College of Sports in Ukraine, earning magna cum laude honors.
An accomplished swimmer on both the national and international levels, Mikish earned a bronze medal in the 50 butterfly at the 2022 Ukrainian National Championships. She also posted strong performances at major U.S. competitions, including a top-14 finish in the 200 breaststroke at the 2024 Speedo Summer Championships in Irvine, California, and a top-19 finish in the event at the 2024 Winter Junior Championships. She added another top-19 finish in the 200 breaststroke at the 2025 Speedo Summer Championships.
Competing for Phoenix Swim Club under head coach Darian Townsend and assistant coach Michael Maczuga, Mikish was an Arizona State Championship finalist and medalist, a Speedo Sectionals finalist and medalist, and a finalist at both the Winter Junior Championships and Summer Junior Nationals.
Outside the pool, she earned national recognition for her work in animation and digital art, receiving Ukraine's "Hero of the Nation" award in 2024 for her contributions to youth animation.
Personal
Born in Cherkasy, Ukraine, and raised in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Daughter of Serhii and Nadiya Mikish.
She is pursuing a degree in computer science with a cybersecurity option while also minoring in design studies and business administration.
A talented artist and musician, Mikish creates her own animated cartoons, handling the drawing, animation, voice acting and music composition herself. She also graduated from music school with honors as a pianist and earned multiple national and international awards.
Athletic achievement runs throughout her family. Her father, Serhii, ranked among the world's top 10 performers in the 400-meter hurdles, competed for the Ukrainian National Team in the decathlon and earned multiple national medals. Her sister, Angelina, swam collegiately at Grand Canyon University and represented Ukraine internationally, while her brother, Artem, earned success in naval pentathlon competition, including a World Cup silver medal and European championship title.
Outside of athletics, Mikish enjoys animation, art, voice acting and music composition.

Fun Fact
A lifelong Olympic fan, Mikish says that during the 2008 Beijing Olympics she would "swim" across the floor of her home in full swim gear, practicing flip turns off the walls while pretending to compete.
