Lindsay Werner was named an assistant coach of the University of New Hampshire women’s basketball program in August 2022. Werner most recently spent the last three seasons at Harvard University as an assistant coach.
She joined the Crimson in July of 2019, after lettering for four years at Merrimack College.
A standout guard during her time at Merrimack, Werner finished her career with 1,120 points, ranking 16th all-time in program history. A two-time NE10 All-Conference selection her junior and senior seasons, Werner set the Merrimack career record for three-pointers made with 190. She averaged 1.86 three-pointers per game over her career and shot 33.9 percent from the three-point range. Starting in 29 games as a senior, Werner set the single season record for three-pointers made with 70.
A native of Groton, Mass., Werner graduated from Merrimack with a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2019. While with the Warriors, she served on the Merrimack Student Athlete Advisory Committee and as the NE10 Player Representative.
