Kevin Nichols is in his second season as the Men’s Basketball Director of Basketball Operations.
In this position, Nichols holds responsibilities include the day to day needs of the men’s basketball program. Specifically, he focuses on managing the team and player schedules, along with the players’ academics. He also coordinates the travel accommodations, meals, and facility scheduling. Nichols also engages in relations with the community and alumni, along with arranging the teams summer camp.
Before UNH, Nichols was the Travel Coordinator and Front Office Administrative Assistant at Brewster Academy where he was also the assistant coach for the AA Boys’ Basketball team for two years. He was also the Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Coach and Varsity Assistant at Spaulding High School for one year. Nichols attended the University of Lousiville and during his time there he was the Student Manager for the University of Louisville Men’s Basketball Program.
Nichols has worked multiple Men’s Basketball Camps in his years before UNH. He started with the University of Arizona in 2018, University of Louisville in 2018-2019, Duke University in 2019, IMG Academy in 2021, and Michigan State, Jay Bilas Skills Camp, and University of Virginia all in 2022.
While being born in Beverly, MA, Nichols’ family relocate to Lee, NH where he graduated from Oyster River High School in 2016. He then went to Plymouth State University to continue his education. After his freshman year at PSU, Nichols transferred to the University of Louisville where he studied Sport Administration.
