Wildcat Internship Program - Business Development & Hospitality
About the Internship
Ticket Sales, Hospitality & Customer Service
- "Own a Night"
- Choose a group/theme night concept to sell to local businesses or organizations (e.g. Teacher Appreciation Night, Hometown Heroes, Doctor/Nurse Appreciation, etc.)
- Generate call list for such night
- Make outbound sales calls
- Coordinate all logistics for program/theme

Participate in intern "Call Blitz" contests for specific ticket packages or initiatives

Assist with set-up and execution of Victory Club rental events

Participate in the creation and implementation of marketing initiatives for all categories of tickets and ticket plans.

Serve as Athletic Department's liaison to student body and look to engage with students and encourage attendance at sporting events

Assist with the planning and execution of Season Ticket Member events
Ticket Office Operations

Facilitate the customer's ticket sales experience through the Ticket Office and UNH Athletics website with customer centric focus ensuring that ticket purchase information is simple, current, and easy to find.

Field in-bound ticket sales calls and maintain daily customer service via phone and email with respect to ticketing issues with customers, coaches, staff, students, season ticket holders and the general public

Maintain and update ticketing database

Assist with the management of team pass lists to ensure adherence to NCAA rules and regulations

Assist in the support, processing, and execution of all package ticketing elements.

Assist with ticket sales reports and analytics

Help monitor Ticket Office in-person and on-line ticket sales trends for use in strategic marketing plans
Game Day Operations

Help execute Group Experience Activations (on field parades, anthem buddies, intermission skate, high five-tunnel, half-time shootouts, etc.)

Operate Business Development Sales Table

Connect with Season Ticket Members, Group Leaders, and Ticket Buyers to ensure quality fan experience
Time Commitment
As a volunteer, a minimum of four office hours a week and additional hours covering UNH Athletics events is required. As a student pursuing the internship for credit, you must meet the required hours a week for your specific class through your major.
