Women’s 3K (10 a.m.) to be followed by Men’s 5K (10:45 a.m.) at Mark Coogan XC Course

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Led by graduate student captain Claire Ronan (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and senior captains John Murphy (Deerfield, N.H.), the UNH cross country team opens the 2025 season in the Suffolk Short Course Classic on Saturday. The women's 3K race is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Mark Coogan XC Course at Highland Park, followed by the men's 5K race at 10 a.m.

Suffolk Short Course Classic Info
•Meet is in its fourth year, first since 2023.
•Was held annually from 2021-23
•Will take place at Highland Park for the first time; previous three meets were run at Franklin Park

The Field
Women
•The women have 17 teams competing including three NCAA Division I programs
(UNH, Holy Cross, Northeastern) and one regionally ranked Division III
team (Suffolk).
Men
•On the men's side there are 15 teams competing with two NCAA Division I
programs (UNH, Holy Cross) and three regionally ranked Division III programs (Babson, Suffolk, WPI).

Parking: Teams and spectators can park at 104 Mechanic Street behind the gold club house. Overflow parking is available at Attleboro High School in Lot D.
