Golomb leads way with 16th-place finish in gold race (6000m)
DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Freshman Lila Golomb (Plymouth, Minn.) secured a 16th-place result and graduate student Delaney Hesler (Steep Falls, Maine) crossed the finish line in 28th place to lead the UNH women's cross country team to sixth place in Saturday's varsity gold race (6000m) at the UMass Dartmouth XC Invitational held at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course.

The Wildcats scored 177 points to place behind first-place Boston University (63 points), UMass Lowell (98), Bryant (107), Holy Cross (152) and Connecticut College (173).
Golomb clocked in at 22 minutes, 9.56 seconds for 16 points, Hesler recorded a time of 22:30.18 (28 points) and freshman Laurel Driscoll (Scarborough, Maine) posted a 30th-place time of 22:35.28 (30 points).
Senior Amelia Jackson (Harmony, R.I.) led UNH in the navy race (sub-varsity) in a time of 25:07.53 (48th place).
