Fifteen Members of Conference Champions Boasted 3.50 or Above GPA
BOSTON – All 15 members of the 2024 America East Cross Country Champion UNH women's cross country team were named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll, the highest academic recognition awarded to student-athletes with a fall semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Junior Lauren Boilard (San Francisco, Calif.), graduate student Gabby DeAngelis (Bedford, N.H.), junior Delaney Hesler (Steep Falls, Maine), senior Kaitlin Lennox (Hampton Falls, N.H.), senior Claire Ronan (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and freshman Ruth White (Orono, Maine) paved the way with perfect 4.00 GPAs.

About UNH Women's Cross Country
The 2024 UNH women's cross country team won the America East Championship for the eighth time in program history and the first time since 2019. Ronan's third-place finish headlined four Wildcats in the Top 10, with DeAngelis, Doody and Walker finishing 8-9-10 to propel the 'Cats to a 21-point victory over UMass Lowell, 52-73. DeAngelis captured Women's Most Outstanding Rookie honors, and head coach Anna Magle-Haberek and assistant coaches Alison Duffy and Casey Carroll won the America East Coaching Staff of the Year award.
About America East Academic Honor Roll
This year 82 percent of student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports earned Honor Roll recognition for achieving at least a 3.0 GPA during the 2024 fall semester or 2025 spring semesters. A total of 58 percent of student-athletes and 2,047 in total earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better. It is a 5% increase from the 2023-24 academic year and all nine schools achieved over 50%. Overall, 2,927 America East student-athletes were named to the Academic Honor Roll in 2024-25. America East is proud to have one of most comprehensive academic awards programs in the country, which honors over two-thirds of its student-athletes for their success in the classroom, including its sports Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Team honorees, Presidential Scholar-Athletes, Elite 18 recipients and Academic/Commissioner's Honor Roll.
