Men’s Soccer Signs Scott Williams

Williams was a member of the Virginia men’s soccer team for three seasons.
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of senior goalkeeper Scott Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio).
"Scott comes to us from the University of Virginia," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He has incredible character and resiliency which stood out immediately. He's battled injuries early in his career and we're eager to help him get back on track physically. We're looking forward to his contributions to the program!"
Williams was a member of the men's soccer team at Virginia from 2021-2024 where he was named to the 2023-24 ACC Honor Roll.
Prior to his time at Virginia, Williams played for Cincinnati United Premier (2016-2020) and Columbus Crew SC Academy (2020-2021).
Williams was a two-year member of the varsity soccer team at The Seven Hills School as he earned 2019 Second Team All-League, 2019 First Team All-Southwest District and 2019 Cincinnati Enquirer Honorable Mention accolades. He also won the Miami Valley Conference All-Academic Award in 2018 and 2019. He graduated from The Seven Hills School in 2021.

The No. 9 nationally-ranked Wildcats open the season at Boston University on Thursday, Aug. 22, followed by the home opener at Wildcat Stadium versus No. 12 Western Michigan on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.
