DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the addition of freshman midfielder Aidan Miller (Richmond Hill, Ga.) to the 2024 roster. Miller has joined the team this spring.
"Aidan is an exceptional person and player who has been competing at the senior level with Tormenta FC's USL1 team under an academy contract for the past year," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He is a quick, technical midfielder with great vision when in possession and has the ability to break lines with his passing. We are confident that Aidan will have a smooth transition into UNH, as he is an excellent student and has been performing in a professional environment with high-level coaching for the past few years."
Miller has been a member of South Georgia Tormenta FC from 2018-23 playing in USL League One, MLS NEXT and USL A. He has been a strong leader as he was a team captain from 2020-23. In 2023 he signed an academy contract with Tormenta FC's USL League One team. Miller graduated from Richmond Hill High School.
The Wildcats concluded the 2023 season with a 13-3-4 record and advanced to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history. UNH was the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament which was the highest seed in program history. The Wildcats defeated defending national champions Syracuse, 3-0, in the second round and then fell to No. 9 seed and eventual national champions Clemson, 1-0, in the first-ever Round of 16 game played at Wildcat Stadium.
The 2024 Spring season schedule will be announced at a later date.
