Men’s Soccer Signs NJCAA All-American Terry Makedika

Arizona Western College transfer to join the Wildcats.
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of junior midfielder Terry Makedika (Paris, France). Makedika is a transfer from Arizona Western College where he was a First-Team NJCAA All-American in 2023.
"Terry is a dynamic attacking player coming from Arizona Western College," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He has great ability in the final 1/3 and his attributes bring something special to an already talented attacking group. We are excited to see how Terry's quality pushes our group forward."
Makedika played two seasons at Arizona Western College appearing in 36 games with 30 goals and seven assists for 67 points. Last season, he totaled 19 goals and four assists for 42 points. His 19 goals were the second most in the nation.
Along with being named a First Team All-American, Makedika earned 2023 ACCAC Player of the Year honors and was a member of the NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Championship All-Tournament team as the Matadors went 17-1-3 and advanced to the national semifinals.
Previously Makedika played for Paris FC from 2019-21 and CSL AULNAY from 2009-2019. He graduated high school from Lycée Voillasume in 2019.

The Wildcats concluded the 2023 season with a 13-3-4 record and advanced to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history. UNH was the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament which was the highest seed in program history. The Wildcats defeated defending national champions Syracuse, 3-0, in the second round and then fell to No. 9 seed and eventual national champions Clemson, 1-0, in the first-ever Round of 16 game played at Wildcat Stadium.
