Men’s Soccer Adds Mattéo Brossel

Brossel played for Hyères 83 FC in France
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of graduate student midfielder Mattéo Brossel (Toulon, France).
"Mattéo is a versatile player who will pursue his MBA this coming year," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He has upwards of 60 games in France's 4th tier and will come in with experience, toughness and an unrelenting engine to add to the team. We are always looking for well-rounded individuals who want to maximize their experience at UNH, and we think we've found that in Mattéo."
Brossel was a member of Hyères 83 FC in the fourth division in France in 2022-23 and 2023-24. Previously he played for Sporting club de Toulon from 2019-22 where he was a team captain in 2020-21 and posted five goals and seven assists for 17 career points.
Brossel was also a member of La valette from 2016-19. He was named a team captain in 2018-19.
Previously announced additions to the 2024 Roster:
The Wildcats open the season at Boston University on Thursday, Aug. 22, followed by the home opener at Wildcat Stadium versus Western Michigan on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.
