Luci Anderson Garners All-America Honors on Second Day of NCAAs

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Graduate student captain Luci Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.) placed ninth in the 7.5K freestyle to earn Second Team All-America honors on Thursday at Howelsen Hill to lead the University of New Hampshire ski team on the second day of the NCAA Championships. UNH is currently in eighth overall in the standings out of 23 teams with 99 points.

The women's Nordic team earned a total of 38 points to place seventh in the 7.5K freestyle.
Anderson recorded a time of 23:03.1 to tally 22 points for the team with her ninth-place finish. This is the first time in her career that Anderson has earned All-America accolades.
Sophomore Hattie Barker (Underhill, Vt.) secured 10 points for the Wildcats as she was 21st (23:56.9) and senior Lea Stabaek Wenaas (Oslo, Norway) gained six points for UNH at 25th (24:12.1).
On the men's side, junior Roger Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.) placed 29th (21:20.1) picking up two points, while junior Eli Gore (Madison, Wis.) was 39th (22:31.6).
