Men’s Hockey Ranked #20 in USA Hockey/The Rink Live National Poll

Wildcats are 4-0-1 over their last five games
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's hockey team is ranked No. 20 in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live Poll. This is the first time this season the Wildcats have been ranked in the poll. Also the Wildcats are just outside the top-20 in the USCHO.com Poll with 94 points. UNH is No. 14 in the PairWise Rankings that determine the NCAA Tournament field.
The last time the Wildcats were ranked were in the final national polls of the 2023-24 season when they were No. 19 in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live Poll and No. 20 in the USCHO.com Poll. Last season, UNH was nationally ranked for 20-consecutive weeks which included a No. 10 ranking on Nov. 20.
The Wildcats (8-4-3, 2-3-2 Hockey East) are 4-0-1 over their last five games, outscoring the opposition, 26-12.

The Wildcats return to action for a two-game series at Princeton (6-4-1, 3-4-1 ECAC) on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 3-4 at Hobey Baker Rink. Friday's game is at 7 p.m. and the contest on Saturday will start at 4 p.m. Both games can be viewed on ESPN+. The next home game for UNH is versus UConn on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. Hot dogs will be just $1 with a maximum of five per order.
