McGrath and 4x1500m Relay Team Set New Outdoor Records at Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Graduate student Kevin McGrath (Hopkinton, N.H.) set a new outdoor high jump record Friday afternoon as the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team competed in the Colonial Relays on the campus of William & Mary this weekend.
RESULTS
FIELD EVENTS
McGrath's jump of 6' 9.50" (2.07m) broke his own record of 6' 8.75" (2.05m) that he set last spring at the 2022 New England Outdoor Championships. He came in first place in the event Friday afternoon.
Junior Joshua Hoffman (Litchfield, N.H.) also notched a first-place finish for the Wildcats, winning the discus invite with a throw of 166' 8" (50.81m) in his outdoor season debut.
TRACK EVENTS
The four-man team of sophomore Aidan Shea (Amherst, Mass.), sophomore Brayden Kearns (Deerfield, N.H.), senior William Curran (Old Saybrook, Conn.), and senior Aidan O'Hern (Concord, N.H.) broke a school record from 2015 by over 10 seconds in the outdoor 4x1500m relay race when they came in first place with a time of 15:47.82.
Junior Adrian Sutton (Rochester, N.H.) made his debut in the 400m hurdles, competing in the event for the first time in his collegiate career and finishing with a time of 58.56 seconds.

The 'Cats return to action on Saturday, April 8 for a quad meet at the Frank H. Livak Track at Vermont beginning at 12 p.m.
