Yannick Bright & Joseba Incera Earn All-America Honors

Bright named to the first team and Incera to the third team.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior midfielder Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy) and graduate student goalkeeper Joseba Incera (Santurtzi, Spain) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team have earned 2023 All-America accolades as announced by United Soccer Coaches.
Bright was named to the first team and Incera was selected to the third team.
Bright is the first player in program history to be a three-time All-American and is the only three-time selection on this year's All-America Team. He is also the first men's soccer three-time All-American in America East history.
This is the seventh straight season that the Wildcats have had at least one All-American and the fifth consecutive season of having at least two selections. The program's all-time All-Americans are Bob Black (1976), Mike Veneto (1993 & 1994), Robin Schmidt (2017), Josh Bauer (2018 & 2019), Antonio Colacci (2019), Bridger Hansen (2020), Paul Mayer (2020), Adam Savill (2021), Bright (2021, 2022 & 2023),Tola Showunmi (2021), Moise Bombito (2022) and Incera (2023).

Bright was just recently named one of 15 semifinalists for the prestigious MAC Hermann Trophy given to the nation's top college soccer player. Bright, who was also a semifinalist in 2021, is the first player in program history to be named a semifinalist twice. He is also one of 44 players attending the MLS College Showcase in Phoenix.
He won his third straight America East Midfielder of the Year Award this season as he is only the second student-athlete to win the award three times. He was also named to the All-Conference First Team for the third straight season and to the All-Academic Team for the second straight year. He just recently was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for the second consecutive season.
Bright has earned numerous accolades during his career which include 2021 First Team All-America, 2022 Third Team All-America, 2021 MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist and 2022 America East Scholar Athlete of the Year. He had three goals and eight assists for 14 points during his career at UNH.

Incera is the first goalkeeper in program history to be an All-American. He ranked fourth in the nation with a 0.585 goals against average.
Incera was named the 2023 America East Goalkeeper of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference accolades. He started in 17 games with a 11-3-3 record this season with six shutouts. He was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 2. Incera spent the previous four seasons at Radford.
The Wildcats just concluded another outstanding season posting a 13-3-4 record (4-0-3 AE) and advancing to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history. UNH was the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament which was the highest seed in program history. The Wildcats defeated defending national champions Syracuse, 3-0, in the second round and then fell to No. 9 seed and 2021 national champions Clemson, 1-0, in the first-ever Round of 16 game played at Wildcat Stadium.
UNH appeared in the NCAA Tournament for the seventh straight season as only four teams have made the NCAA Tournament seven consecutive seasons from 2017-23 (UNH, Indiana, Wake Forest and Georgetown).
The 'Cats won the America East Regular Season Championship for the fifth straight season and are only the second program to win five consecutive titles. UNH's 0.643 team goals against average ranks fourth in the nation, while its .750 winning percentage is ninth nationally.
