DURHAM, N.H. – Senior Peder Nersnæs (Oslo, Norway) and junior Zoe Michael (Sydney, Australia) have been named Alpine team captains for the 2024 season as announced by the University of New Hampshire ski program.
"I'm very confident in Peder and Zoe to be the voices of the team," said Alpine head coach Brian Blank. "They have consistently been leaders on the hill, gym and fields. I really appreciate their opinions and feedback. We have a strong team with a lot of experience and each member contributes with various leadership qualities."
Nersnaes, who was also a team captain last season, competed at the 2023 NCAA Championships and won the men's Alpine Team MVP Award. He ranked 12th overall in the East in 2023 and posted a season best third-place finish at the UNH Carnival in the giant slalom.
