SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team fell to Bryant University, 65-44 on Monday afternoon from Chace Athletic Center.

Freshman Avery O'Connor (Dedham, Mass.) scored 15 points for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats' record falls to 5-12 (0-5 AE) and Bryant's improves to 6-12 (1-5 AE).

FIRST QUARTER:
· Bryant opened the scoring on a 7-0 run until O'Connor drained a three to get the 'Cats on the board.
· Freshman guard Breezie Williams (Canton, Ohio) had six points for the 'Cats in the first, all of them coming from three-pointers.

SECOND QUARTER:
· O'Connor collected three rebounds in the second quarter, contributing to her 10 rebounds throughout the game.
· In a defensive heavy quarter, both teams held each other under 10 points.

THIRD QUARTER:
· Williams brought the 'Cats out hot with a quick driving layup after she forced a turnover.
· Another turnover from Bryant lead to a three from O'Connor giving the Wildcats five unanswered points.

FOURTH QUARTER:
· Kane went 100% from the free throw, helping the Wildcats to a 90% free throw percentage.
