Wildcats Conclude Action at UConn Northeast Challenge

Michael Monahan leads UNH with fourth place finish in the 110-meter hurdles.
RESULTS
STORRS, Conn. – Senior Michael Monahan (Tewksbury, Mass.) was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles out of 16 athletes with a time of 14.73 as the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team placed 12th out of 22 teams at the UConn Northeast Challenge.

The Wildcats were strong in the 800-meter run as Zack Plaza (Auburn, N.H.) was eighth (1:53.60), senior Spenser Sawyer (Windham, N.H.) was 12th (1:54.54), junior Dillon Adamy (Clinton, N.J.) was 15th (1:55.56) and junior William Curran (Old Saybrook, Conn.) was 18th (1:56.86).

Junior Andrew Fleming (Acton, Mass.) led the Wildcats with a 12th-place finish in the hammer throw with a distance of 170'04", while sophomore Andrew Kelly (Portsmouth, N.H.) was eighth in the long jump at 6'04". Â

Freshman Aidan Shea (Amherst, Mass.) placed 19th in the 1,500 meters out of 35 athletes with a time of 3:54.06.

The Wildcats will return to action Saturday, April 23, at UMass Lowell.
