UNH in fifth place following Nordic races at Rikert
MIDDLEBURY & RIPTON, Vt. – Junior Scott Schulz (Lake Placid, N.Y.) and freshman Lisa Nystedt (Stockholm, Sweden) were the top UNH ski team performers in Friday's Nordic action at Rikert Nordic Center as the Wildcats moved into fifth place at the Middlebury College Carnival with 141 points.
Vermont won both Nordic races and leads the carnival with 271 points, followed by Middlebury (219), Dartmouth (184), Bowdoin (165) and UNH.
The men's and women's slalom races scheduled for Friday were canceled, so EISA points will be doubled for Saturday's giant slalom at the Middlebury Snow Bowl.
