RESULTS

BOSTON – The University of New Hampshire men's track and field team competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at the Track & Tennis Center at Boston University.

Senior Kevin McGrath (Hopkinton, N.H.) placed second in the high jump at 6'7" out of 26 athletes, while senior Emmanuel Nkounkou (Dover, N.H.) was eighth as he cleared the bar at 6'5".

The Wildcats were strong in the shot put as sophomore Joshua Hoffman (Litchfield, N.H.) placed seventh out of 28 with a throw of 48'10.25", while junior Andrew Fleming (Acton, Mass.) finished 10th at 47'10".

Senior Patrick Brogioli (Milford, Mass.) finished 12th out of 22 in the weight throw at 52'1.25".

In the 60 meter hurdles, senior Michael Monahan (Tewksbury, Mass.) placed 12th out of 25 in with a time of 8.33.

The 400 meter relay team of sophomore Adrian Sutton (Rochester, N.H.), senior Brian Genet (Merrimack, N.H.), senior Jack Kennefick (Walpole, Mass.) and Monahan finished 15th out of 19 teams with a time of 3:22.51.

The Wildcats will return to action at Vermont on Sunday, Feb. 13.
